I took this shot in the 1970s. It shows the quaint "steeple" top of the Gazebo. This roof was destroyed in a storm. Today, the green-shingled roof comes to a simple point.

I've always liked this shot. Note the Gazebo across the tracks, down the block. The "train station" is just outside the photo, at left.

The Gazebo in Spring

Here's is an old postcard showing the Gazebo. The postcard says "Deal Lake, Asbury Park" (but we know better). Note "Old Al" the watertower. (Thanks, uncle Fred!)
