| This map shows the Corlies Avenue Bridge plus two other "Rustic" bridges (labeled 1 and 2). These two little bridges were removed a long time ago when the two coves that they spanned were filed in and Lake Drive was extended. (Detail derived from a map in the book Around Deal Lake, by Marie A. Sylvester.) | |||||||||||||||||||

| The train station photo above (which you have already seen) ahows Bridge #1, looking northeast. The photo seems to have been taken from the Corlies Avenue Bridge. | |||||||||||||||||||

| The above photo shows bridge #1 again, but looking southwest. Look closely at the upper left of this photo to see the Corlies Avenue Bridge. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Here is a really nice postcard of Rustic Bridge #1 again, this time closer. Now you can clearly see the Corlies Avenue bridge in the background. Note at left how close the entrances of these bridges were to each other. | |||||||||||||||||||

This bridge is different and smaller than the others. I would venture to say that this is Rustic Bridge #2, at the inersection of Spier Avenue and Lake Drive.
